The Morakniv Companion Fishing Fillet 155 (S) knife is a long flexible filleting knife with a blade of swedish cold-rolled special stainless steel. It offers a very strong yet flexible blade that allows fishermen to be in total control while filleting their catch. Cold-rolled steel allows excellent edge rention and allows you to get all the meat off the bone.

The shape is also good for panfish, but it has proved to be superb at going around bones in fish such as northern pike!

TRUST ME, DON'T BUY A CHEAP FILLET KNIFE FROM , BUY THIS ONE.

I don't have to sharpen it nearly as much as any other fillet knife that I have used.

The steel on this is sandvik 12C27 and has a 55-57HRC on the rockwell scale, which is amazing for a fillet knife.
I have never had this knife rust on me either.
